This discussion came up with Parts Unknown and I have not been able to get it out of my head since. We were discussing where Dumb and Dumber would rank in a list of greatest comedies ever. So I decided to take some time and make my list and just see where it would land on here. I had projected early possibly in the 15 range….I may have been off with that.

As always opinions will differ and I would love to hear some feedback on what you would have on your list were you to make one. Here are my top twenty with a few honorable mentions.

Charlie Sheen Stops Beating His Wife Long Enough To Sign A New Contract

In a move that is sure to make my mother happy Charlie Sheen has lowered his pimp hand and raised his writing one to ink a new contract for two more seasons of his hit comedy Two and a Half Men. The sickening part? It is for a cool 1.8 million an episode so by my meager brains ability to count that is like 60 million dollars for two years work. Man I am in the wrong profession.

This also teaches us a valuable lesson. That notoriety plus physical or alcohol abuse equals out to the greatest in life achievements. Charlie Sheen smacks the mother of his twins around…..60 million! Bobby Cox tells his wife to do something with his fist…..World Series ring! Brett Favre gets a lot of Captain in him….Super Bowl baby!

Just think if we combine these two powerful forces. I think my girlfriend would be alright with it. Just gotta word it right.

Me: Ok baby here’s the deal. Do you want a hundred million dollars?

Her: Sure…who wouldn’t?

Me: Ok then do me a favor. I need you to go out and get me some Grey Goose, come back then clench your jaw real tight and close your eyes.
