TNA Destination X 2010 Results

What I originally thought was a holdover PPV till Lockdown turned into a pretty stacked card. TNA held Destination X last night and with Impact ratings not exactly blowing the box out TNA needed to deliver a strong PPV to keep some interest going. Hey look I found results!

1. Kazarian defeated Daniels, Kendrick and Amazing Red in a Ladder Match to become number 1 contender for the X-Title.

2. Tara defeated Daffney to retain the Knockouts Title. After the match Daffney stole her tarantula. Uh oh…..it’s on. Spider theft is crossing the line…..bitch.

3. Big Rob Terry defeated Magnus (which I still snicker when I think of his old Gladiator gimmick) to retain the Global Title.

4. MCM defeated Generation Me in an Ultimate X match to become number 1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles.

5. Doug Williams defeated Shannon Moore to retain the X-Title.

6. Hernandez and Matt Morgan defeated Beer Money to retain the Tag Team Titles. After the match Morgan hit Hernandez with the Carbon Footprint.

7. Kurt Angle defeated Mr. Anderson

8. Abyss vs. A.J. Styles ended in a no contest when Abyss chokeslammed Styles through the ring.

Captain’s Chair:

+ It was good that Kazarian got his number one contender status back. I was worried they were going to forget about him after Shannon Moore came in.

+ I am glad TNA appears to be keeping the Daffney/Tara feud going. Daffney is a worthwhile challenger and it is good to see her getting a proper push.

+ TNA prmosed to showcase the X division and they did a good job with two high profile quality matches. The X Title match…..not so much.

– I am all for Kurt Angle winning the overall feud with Mr. Anderson. But if it is going to be extended past last night Anderson really should have picked up the win.

– I didn’t like the ending to the Styles/Abyss match. But I understand why. You want to keep Abyss hot while keeping the title on A.J.

– The Pope, your number one contender for the world title, did not have a match. Confusing.

– Only a Desmond Wolfe appearance at the end of the show.
